Approach

Care that looks for the cause first

No rush to hormonal medication — the underlying cause of the complaint is investigated first. Treatment is individual and follows modern endocrinology protocols.

Cause-focused diagnosis

Not masking the symptom, but finding its root — from weight loss to hormonal imbalance.

Individual plan

Age, weight, labs and comorbidities differ for everyone — treatment is tailored to them.

Evidence-based decisions

Grounded in international protocols and test results; no unnecessary medication.

No rushed decisions

For newly found hypothyroidism, time is given for further testing to avoid lifelong medication in vain.

Frequently asked

What patients ask most

When should you see an endocrinologist?

Unexplained weight change, constant fatigue, intolerance to cold or heat, hair loss, swelling in the neck, thirst, frequent urination, menstrual irregularities and excess facial hair in women may be signs of endocrine disorders. If you have any of these, an examination is recommended.

Is thyroid biopsy painful?

Fine-needle aspiration biopsy, when performed with the correct technique, is almost painless and not significantly different from a routine blood draw. Myths about "spreading" have no medical basis. It is an important and safe way to clarify the diagnosis.

Is every thyroid nodule biopsied?

No. The indication is determined not by size but by the ultrasound characteristics of the nodule. Under the TIRADS system, suspicious nodules are biopsied; sometimes even an 8 mm nodule with suspicious features requires biopsy.
